I am captain Haddock, grand amateur of whisky, and may I be damned to the pits if all this is not some illusion caused by vapors!
Every night I get to copy the ability of someone else, and use it as my own.

(Roster topic, roster topic!)
So, first off, we need to decide how/why/the flavor of why we are evil.

(Wait, you're not updating it yourself? ) Couldn't it be simpler? That machination, Deep Thought it calls itself, is surely another diabolic invention of professor Calculus - and as usual, I'm the guinea pig! I got to get out, and when I do, that ostrogoth of many regions will get a good talk for my trouble!

Roster updated with everyone who's posted so far. Much help is needed in deciphering some of those roles because I am a giant weeaboo with narrow range.
I was leaning towards people getting on the wrong side of the ESRB and their draftees (and people hired with their copious amounts of money), but that seems tenuous at best.

Oh, right, before I forget: Mechanic - Sleeper Agent - Each night you may protect a target by PMing that target to Deep Thought. However, instead of protecting the target, your hidden programming could activate and you will instead kill your target.
It should be noted that this is not what I originally wrote (which as expected was scrapped due to complexity...or was it? shifted onto someone else perhaps...we'll see after the first night's results). cj seems to have noticed the same thing in-thread.
I should have submitted the Rock...he's far easier and more iconic to portray...but he doesn't have the symmetry with one of the other roles I put in. C'est la vie.

Okay, I might be biased because it's part of my natural upbringing as a child, but still, Tintin. One of the most famous comic. Renowned for it's creator's own attention to detail. One time they even went to the friggin moon and at the time that story was the most accurate thing available as far as space goes.Spectrum, I... Oh dear, poor you.)

(There's narrow, and then there's narrow. And then there's you. And yes, that's my own role here. I'm starting to sense a pattern. )

If it's an anime or manga character, I've got a good shot at getting it. If it's a game, decent shot. Range + depth! If it's a tv show or movie, I may or may not get it. If it's anything else, utter crapshoot.

The other one....*shudder* *preens* ^_^ Did you watch the youtube in that third one? I've only made it all the way through twice. Honestly, it's the one I wanted to end up with the most, even if I thought the mechanics for the other two were funnier in terms of causing confusion.

Using an inspirational speech, you can select one player per evening. Any ability that they have is doubled for that evening - if they can guard, they can guard two individuals, seers can seer two individuals, etc etc. If this ruling is not applicable or cannot otherwise be doubled, their votes count for twice as much as usual when selecting an Erasure. This "doubling" kicks in the night after you target them. The inspirational speech must take place in the thread.
My mechanic.
